Salary £37,000 + benefits
The Crichton Trust seeks a Business Community Development Manager (BCDM) to assist us through an exciting period of unprecedented growth and development. If you are energised by a vision for The Crichton to become a world-renowned place for inspiring people, catalysing connection and collaboration, and as a driver of innovation, we want to hear from you.
This is a rare opportunity to use your extensive business and community management expertise to make a lasting impact on an innovative, ambitious charity and social enterprise which self generates income from a diverse hospitality, venue and property business.
The Crichton Trust is determined to help make Scotland the best place to start, grow and support businesses by fostering innovation, ingenuity and entrepreneurship through encounters, connections and partnerships. We aim to provide high-potential businesses with the innovative programmes and services they need to help them establish themselves, to cultivate a community of entrepreneurs who benefit from access to a collaborative, co-working office space, offering mentoring and an exceptional events programme.
The Business Community Development Manager will be the senior point of contact for The Crichton business tenants and Crichton Central Connectors, acting as the face of The Trust, leading a positive experience for all business activity and ensuring there is a solid relationship between members, connectors, tenants and our on-site team. The Trust seeks to build communities across our site and the wider sphere of influence. We are about bringing together people, place and our past to build the future. If you are inspired to be at the centre of innovation, of collaboration and change through and with people then this could be the role for you.
Come join The Crichton team in generating answers to the big challenges of our time in relation to our ageing society, the urgent need for carbon reduction and the rise of the knowledge economy (the future economy).
