Come and join us for a day of free cycling fun on The Crichton Estate before the UCI Cycling World Championships come to town! Explore The Crichton via bike on a treasure hunt, take part in one of our skill sessions, try out some new bikes, and find out more about local cycle groups and how to plan family-friendly routes. 

Cycling will be taking place across The Crichton Estate, but Crichton Central will be the go-to point for any information, as well as the location for the live streaming for the UCI world Cycling Events happening across Scotland. The Crichton will be the location for the para-cycling road race on the 11th and 12th of August, so our Family Cycling Festival is the perfect opportunity to kick off the cycling activities and find out more about the races, as well as cycling activities across Dumfries and Galloway!

The first 50 people who arrive via bike will get free ice cream. Refreshments and lunch will be available at Crichton Central café, and you can find out more information on the Crichton Trust’s website.
