Crichton Central is a new co-working and collaboration space at The Crichton in Dumfries and is set in 85 acres of landscaped grounds and gardens.
From June 2021, we will implement a phased opening of our spaces within Crichton Central. Pending the easing of restrictions, we are hopeful of a more formal launch in the Autumn – keep an eye on our blog and on social media for updates.
Cafe, Bar & Shop
The Crichton Central Cafe can offer everything from tea and cake to coffee and a bacon roll as well as beer and pizza.
Our new Connectors Workspace is a large open plan, airy workspace within Crichton Central (members only). It will provide a lovely setting for mobile workers and for anyone who wants an alternative to working from home.
Lounge & Outdoor Terrace
By day the lounge will provide a comfy spot to meet a friend or colleague for coffee, lunch or a drink and for remote or mobile workers will provide a convenient place to meet, work or enjoy a lunch break. By night, the lounge can be transformed into a Live Lounge for band nights, liver performances and small functions, talks, lectures and networking events.
Crichton Central has two meeting rooms, which will be available for hire when they open later in the year.
Studio & Control Room
As part of the Crichton Central project, a new recording studio and control room has been added to the building.
We are delighted to say that we have added a new Changing Places Toilet to the map in the South of Scotland within our new co-working space at Crichton Central.
Crichton Central is one of several venues managed by The Crichton Trust and complements the indoor and outdoor spaces already available at Easterbrook Hall, Easterbrook Bistro, Bar and Spa and the Crichton Memorial Church. The Crichton is a popular location with a thriving business, academic, third sector and leisure community.
